The seeds of my work were planted during my student years through volunteering and experiences of service that shaped how I saw people, communities, and change.

My journey has not been defined by a career path as much as by a sense of purpose.

While I began my professional career in Information Technology in 2004, the pull towards social impact remained a constant thread. In 2011, I chose to take the full-time plunge into the development sector, driven by a deep conviction that service, leadership, and collective action can create meaningful and lasting change.

My journey has been driven by two powerful realizations that serve as my key motivations: the spirit of Seva (selfless service), and the immense potential of youth when their energy is channelled toward meaningful change. My work is consistently aimed at unlocking this agency, enabling youth to transition from contributors to architects of social change.

From tribal communities and rural villages, to national policy consultations and international forums, these experiences have reinforced a simple truth:

As time progressed, opportunities emerged to facilitate learning, mentor leaders, strengthen organizations and support personal growth, as a natural extension of my journey.

While the contexts evolved, the underlying pursuit has remained unchanged: awakening the inherent potential in people and enabling them to contribute meaningfully to the world around them.

My experiences have gradually evolved into Swayam™ — an approach rooted in the belief that individuals and organizations already possess the seeds of their own growth and transformation.

With my cross-sector exposure, I bring a deep understanding of the unique challenges mission-driven organizations face — from navigating complex stakeholder landscapes to sustaining impact at scale.

I partner with leaders who are ready to build healthier, more effective organizations that truly live their values. I firmly believe that leadership is an inner journey, not merely a role.

I draw on systems thinking, reflective practice, adaptive leadership, and strengths-based approaches in all my engagements.

While my primary work today focuses on coaching, organizational development and learning journeys, I continue to remain connected to grassroots initiatives and community-led efforts. These engagements keep me grounded in lived realities and continue to shape my understanding of leadership, service, and social change.
